General terms and conditions for camping services

The following terms and conditions apply between the campsite guest and the campsite Sandgold, represented by Wieser Nature & Hospitality GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the campsite). With the registration the campsite guest explicitly accepts the content of these terms and conditions. Deviating and/or supplementary agreements require the express written confirmation of the Camping Company.

  1. Conclusion of the camping contract/booking

 By sending the written registration, the camper bindingly offers the camping company the conclusion of a camping contract for the specified period and for the registered number of persons. The camping contract only comes into effect with the written booking confirmation by the camping company. There is no entitlement to a specific pitch. Telephone information, additional agreements and other assurances of any kind are only part of the contract if they have been confirmed in writing by the camping company.

  1. Booking / Prices

 The prices to be paid by the campsite guest are stated in the current price list of the campsite. It is the responsibility of the camper to inform himself about the prices valid in the period of registration before booking. All prices are per day in the indicated period. Prices are subject to change without notice, errors and omissions excepted.

The prices for the stay include 2 adults each.

 If 1 adult brings a child, the normal price for 2 adults is paid. If two adults bring one child, the child (up to 14 years old) pays only the reduced price.

The minimum stay for the pitches is 1 night.

The minimum stay for the chalets is 2 nights in low and mid season and 4 nights in high season.

We reserve the right to adjust the minimum stay depending on occupancy.

 After receiving the booking confirmation, please check it immediately for accuracy! The camping company reserves the right to change the booking equally if this is necessary for special reasons. Registrations/bookings of persons under 18 years are not allowed and will be cancelled by the camping company.

The booking of the camper is binding only after receipt of the deposit.

  1. Price change clause

The company is entitled to adjust the respective price list a maximum of once per quarter to changing market conditions, in the event of significant changes in consumption/procurement costs or changes in sales tax. In the event of price increases that significantly exceed the regular increase in the cost of living, the guest has the right to terminate the contract. In these cases, the company will inform him/her of this in text form.

  1. Local tax

 The campsite is obliged to collect and pay the respective local tax from the campers (local tax according to the valid statutes of the Italian Province of Bolzano (BZ). The amount to be paid will be shown separately in the total bill.

  1. Change of persons

Changes of persons are not permitted during the booked travel period. Separate bookings are always required for this.

  1. Contract changes/booking changes

 For contract changes/booking changes of any kind, a processing fee of 15.00 € will be charged. Bookings with a deposit paid can only be rebooked for the same calendar year. Booking changes can only be accepted if there is a possibility of a change.

  1. General obligation of use

 A camping pitch can be occupied by a maximum of 6 persons. Additional tents are subject to registration and fees.

  1. Deposit/change of booking/change of reservation

 Upon completion of a booking, 50% of the total stay must be paid in advance. At

change of booking / change of reservation a contribution towards expenses of 15 € is to be paid.

  1. Withdrawal by the camper

 The camper can withdraw from the camping contract in writing after receipt of the deposit/reservation fee. The date of receipt of the written notice of withdrawal by the campsite is decisive for the date of withdrawal. If the camper withdraws from the contract, the campsite is entitled to compensation as follows:

– In case of cancellation from 7 days before arrival we charge 50% of the total price.

– In case of no-show, early departure, and/or late arrival, all booked days will be charged.

Depending on the season and booking situation, we reserve the right to adjust the cancellation conditions.

A credit card is required as a guarantee for your reservation.

To avoid cancellation fees, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

There will be no refund in case of early departure.

  1. No-show / late arrival

 In case of arrival after reception closing time (seasonal), a notification to welcome@sandgold.it is necessary. Otherwise, the pitch/rental property will be assigned to someone else from 15:00 on the following day. Refunds of payments already made are excluded (point 8).

  1. Travel cancellation insurance

 The campsite recommends that you take out travel cancellation insurance. The European Travel Insurance is active and charges about 6% of the booking value, this is offered during the booking process. Please note the instructions.

  1. Arrival and departure

The reserved pitch is available from 15.00 on the day of arrival. If you should arrive after 19.00 o’clock, we ask for short notification. On the day of departure we ask you to release the pitch by 11.30 am. 

The reserved chalet will be at your disposal from 15.00 on the day of arrival. If you should arrive after 19.00 o’clock, we ask for short notification. On the day of departure we ask you to release the chalet by 10:00 am.

In case of late departure, the day will be charged in both cases

  1. Campsite rules/night rest

 The campsite guest is obliged to comply with the rules and regulations of the campsite rules, which are available for inspection at the reception. In particular, the times specified therein must be observed.

The night rest is valid from 22:00 to 7:00 o’clock. Please respect this quiet time and do not disturb your neighbors with loud music, loud conversations or engine noise. The vacation should be relaxing and stress-free for everyone.

The camping company is entitled to terminate the camping contract without notice if the camper’s behavior endangers others or causes lasting disturbance, or if the camper behaves in a manner contrary to the contract to such an extent that immediate cancellation of the contract is justified. In such a case, the camping company retains its claim to the agreed total price as a lump sum compensation according to point nine (9).

  1. Registration/Access bracelets

 One or more access bracelets for the gates/rentals in the camping area will be given to the campers upon arrival. These authorize only to let pass the registered persons. 

In addition, the wristband can be used as a means of payment in our bar/bistro. 

The payment will be made at the reception upon departure.

In case of loss of an issued access card, a lump-sum compensation of € 25.00 each will be due.

  1. Visitors

 The campsite guest is obliged to register visitors at the reception. The prices for visitors are to be asked in the reception. Visitors’ vehicles are to be parked outside the campsite premises.

  1. Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the premises.

  1. Sanitary facilities:

Our sanitary facilities are located in the basement of the main building and are open 24 hours for your convenience. We are always concerned about cleanliness and hygiene. Please leave everything as you would like to find it.

We also have 8 private bathrooms for even more privacy. These can be booked by the day.

  1. Waste separation

 We ask you to carefully separate your waste and dispose of it in the containers provided (at the exit): glass, paper, metal, plastic bottles, Tetra Pak, cardboard, residual waste.

  1. Defects / Complaints

 Any complaints regarding the campsite or the rented object must be reported immediately by the camper to the camping company. The assertion of claims for defects is excluded if these have not been reported directly to the camping company during the stay of the camper. The campsite must be given a reasonable period of time to remedy the defect (rectification).

  1. Rules

 Not allowed is/are:

 Pools on the pitch, bulky waste disposal, hoverboards on the asphalted paths, parking/driving vehicles of any kind in the buildings as well as in the entrance area, open fires, leaving stones/tent pegs/garbage on the pitch, parcel deliveries, use of other pitches, hammering pegs into trees, fast driving, noise pollution.

air-impermeable/water-impermeable floor coverings in the awnings

parking the caravan or motorhome outside the paved area of the camping site

allowing unregistered persons to enter the camping park

charging electric vehicles/plug-in hybrids, as well as heating with electric heaters in the awning. In case of disregard we charge a fee of 100,00 €. In case of repeated disregard we reserve the right to expel the guest from the camping park. 

Open fire is forbidden because of the risk of fire. With the exception of grills on racks.

  1. Media data / Data protection

 The camping operation is monitored in critical areas by video cameras. This is done for the safety of the campers (detection and prevention of safety hazards), for the protection of property and possessions, for the control of access authorizations and for the exercise of domiciliary rights. The recordings will only be evaluated in case of need and only the required data will be stored until clarification. Data will not be passed on to third parties. The video recordings are regularly deleted automatically in accordance with § 6b BDSG. In addition, the recording device is protected from access by unauthorized third parties by appropriate measures in accordance with § 9 BDSG.

At regular intervals, the campsite will make video and audio recordings at the campsite. If the campsite guest does not want this to happen, the photographer or camera team must be informed immediately.

The campsite collects, processes and uses this data for the booking order and its own marketing purposes within the framework of the legal regulations. The data will not be passed on to third parties outside of the order. The camping company will gladly provide the guest with information about his data or block it with effect for the future.

  1. Pets

 Pitches:

Pets are welcome on our campsite. We ask you to keep your dog on a short leash at all times and to dispose of your dog’s waste yourself (dog waste bags can be found at the exit).

We charge 5,00 € per dog per day.

Dogs are not allowed in the sanitary facilities.

 Chalets:

We ask for your understanding that pets are not allowed in the chalets.

  1. Liability

 The camping company is only liable in case of intent or gross negligence of its legal representative or vicarious agent according to the legal regulations. Otherwise, the camping company is only liable for injury to life, body or health. This applies to all claims for damages (in particular for damages in addition to performance and damages in lieu of performance), regardless of the legal grounds, in particular due to the breach of duties arising from the obligation or tort. For falling branches or similar, the camping company is only liable within the scope of the existing liability insurance. In case of damage due to force majeure there is no claim.

  1. Set-off

 The camper can only set off such claims that are undisputed or have been legally established.

  1. Errors

 The camping company reserves the right to correct errors or printing and calculation errors.

  1. Place of jurisdiction

 The camper can only sue the campsite at its domicile. The place of residence of the camper is decisive for legal action by the camping company, unless the legal action is directed against registered traders or persons who do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany, or against persons who have moved their place of residence or usual place of abode abroad after conclusion of the contract, or whose place of residence or usual place of abode is not known at the time the legal action is filed. In these cases the domicile of the camping company is decisive.
